The resistance comprises a 3 decades of 10x1, 10x10 and 10x100 Ohms, giving a total of 1100 Ohms. Athe the back of the apparatus are the non-inductive wound resistances. The maximum load is 2Amperes for the units, 0.8Amperes for the decades and 0.2 Amperes for the hundrends. On the top of the apparatus is a slide wire resistance of 1Ohm, divided into 0.1 Ohms, for a maximum load of 2.5 Amperes.

Functioning:
The apparatus is used for resistance measurements. The decades can be used both is series and, by loosening the two connecting bars, seperately in single decades for different circuits. The handle serves as a resistance indicator.
