Hydraulic Tourniquet or Barker's Mill

The apparatus consists of a glass bulb that ends up in a tubular base. Two diametrically opposite long hoses start from this base. These hoses immediately bent downwards in an L-shaped inclination. The tubular base carries a recess adjacent to a metal shaft for rotation and support. The shaft ends up in the centre of a metal tray that collects the water used by the whole apparatus.
