X-Ray Tube

This X-Ray tube of the Museum collection constritutes a Crookes type cathode ray tube connected to a Ruhmkorff coil. Inside there is an anode made of refractory metal whereas the cathode is on the left. On the top there is a tube with a platinum wire to reguate the vacuum in the X-ray tube.
